
What Exactly is a Health Coach?
A Health Coach is a wellness authority and supportive mentor who help clients shift their behavior toward healthier habits. Whether their goal is losing weight, improving digestion, reducing stress, or boosting energy, Health Coaches support their clients to develop sustainable lifestyle changes.
My education has equipped me with extensive, cutting-edge knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching, and prevention. I work with clients to help make lifestyle changes and choose health-promoting ways that produce real and lasting results. You will develop a deeper understanding of food and lifestyle choices that work best for you.

Bio-Individuality
There is no one way of eating that works for everyone. Diets and one size fits all approaches to wellness don’t work. I was trained in the pros and cons of over 100 dietary theories to help each individual find their optimal way of eating.
Crowding Out
Many nutrition experts give their clients a list of foods to avoid which is why many people are turned off by nutrition. My approach is different – by eating foods that are good for you, you will naturally have less room and desire for unhealthy foods. Simply put, you will crowd out the unhealthy food in your diet.
Primary Food
It’s not just food that affects our health, but all of the other factors present in our daily lives. Healthy relationships, a fulfilling career, regular physical activity, and a spiritual awareness are essential forms of nourishment.
Deconstructive Cravings
Cravings play a critical role in understanding what your body needs and shouldn’t be ignored. When you learn how to deconstruct your cravings and understand what they’re really telling you, you will be able to reclaim a sense of balance.
The Health Crisis

Rates of obesity and chronic illnesses are skyrocketing.
Only 12% of Americans are considered metabolically healthy:
In the U.S. we spent $3.6 Trillion on Health Care in 2019 (!!!) but we continue to get heavier and sicker as a population. In a few years, 83 million Americans will have 3 or more chronic illnesses!
The crisis is also deeply affecting our greatest treasure, our children. Childhood obesity is soaring and so are rates of Type 2 Diabetes.
The current Health Care model does not help us get healthy. Health Care manages us being sick. It’s Sick Care.
Preventative care is the future and Health Coaching fills a big void in our current healthcare paradigm.

So You Don’t Believe in Doctors?
Health Coaching does not advocate against doctors. They are experts in medicine and vital to society.
Health Coaching is an emerging field that in a best practice would be a component of a team approach to wellness.
To truly impact this crisis and make a difference in health outcomes there needs to be a new approach.
